PeakCare Queensland Incorporated (PeakCare) is the peak body for the safety and well being of children and young people and the support of their families.

Peakcare Queensland decided that their aging Information Technology infrastructure required an upgrade, so they called upon Community Vision Systems to provide them with a solution.

Initially we conducted some background research into Peakcare Queensland to gain an understanding of the organisation and what requirements they might have. An analysis of the current office space determined how the current infrastructure was configured, and how improvements could be made. It was concluded that Peakcare would require a complete systems update with their existing data transferred across to the new network of computers.

A system plan and design was setup with networking and backup standards in place. The workstations were pre-built and the software installation & network configuration were conducted onsite. Training was provided to help staff integrate with the new system.

Overall Peakcare Queensland were satisfied with the new infrastructure, and that satisfaction has prompted Peakcare Queensland to make arrangements for CVS to provide Network Servicing support for the foreseeable future.

More recently in late 2008 after the workstations previously provided by CVS reached the end of their lifecycle, Peakcare Queensland secured funding in order to upgrade to new workstations, providing efficiency never before seen by the organisation.

Managed Exchange Server: the ultimate in Office Productivity

Peakcare Queensland also took advantage of our Email Hosting and Office Productivity solution. This will decrease the amount of time their staff spend managing Spam and Virus infected emails, and allow them to share calendars and contacts.

Sharepoint Server: Office storage and collaboration evolved

In January 2009 Peakcare Queensland took advantage of our hosted Sharepoint Services. Staff can now access their files and documents from any location, protect those documents with specific security permissions, Coordinate projects calendars and schedules, Discuss ideas and review documents or proposals and Share information and keep in touch with other people.
